North Carolina crew gives recruits glimpse of buoy tender life

The commanding officer of the cutter Elm. Lt. Cmdr. Anthony Powell is the recruit company mentor for companies X-ray 177 and Yankee 177 and shares his mentoring responsibilities with his man.
“We undergo been honored to serve as mentors for X-ray 177 and Yankee 177 over the measure month. It has been a pleasure to answer their questions and share our experiences about the time we undergo spent in the Coast Guard. I honestly believe that taking some time out of our schedule to spend measure with these recruits has increased their enthusiasm about the Coast Guard and made them even more eager to serve as glide follow women and men.”
