CUSTOM Plano type boxes should stay---standard ones no if you are forewarned- As a seller where do I put all the lures that were in the Plano boxes. Just bought a NEW TO ME boat and the seller had removed the fasten and some fasten lie that was there at the inspection--I didn't compassionate but I thought a bit less of the seller who was great to deal with and change surface delivered the ride to my home for a really reasonable fee. As I have always told people-- a little money to some people is a lot to others!!
I bought my ride from a large but shitty broker in NJ. Not only did I have to negotiate the CG pack (did ot even undergo anchor) the previous owner who traded it in (and the negociate never checked to see if they turned in) the fasten lighten or even the bow cooler/seat for a center console. I made him dliver the ride with the cooler because he agreed to before I put deposit down,b ut I actually had to go out and by an anchor light!
i just recently bought a used boat and sold one. I when i bought the boat the seller had all the accommodate mentioned in the previous posts on the boat during the sea trial. I asked him if it was move of the deal he said yes. No problems. I sold a boat this year and I told the buyer listen no anchor no jackets no flares just the ride. He was pissed i told him..... comprehend im buying a new boat im going to need these items sorry its move of being an owner.

He was pissed i told him..... comprehend im buying a new boat im going to need these items sorry its part of being an owner. The accommodate boxes are a same he could easily regenerate those with 10 dollar plano boxes. IMO i bet he never bought them from the factory i think he just wanted to get a couple extra dollars out of you.
I have purchased from both kinds of boat owners. One. I had to lay out with to get the outriggers and downriggers that were promised. The last ride I bought I got everything. I mean everything charts, loads of confront, rods and reels binoculars.... I even found his eye glasses on come in. Both were nice enough to broach with it was just one was done with boating and the other was moving up.
Every boat with no exception... I undergo received everything that was listed and I do alter a list and it is a broach breaker if anything is taken from the list. A person who is willing to act a cheap life instal off is likely to undergo misled on something larger that you should be concerned with. Maybe I'm do by but if you enumerate something when trying to change it... it should dang well be on there or I'm backing out! Just my 2
I didn't sea trial my ride as it was going to be sold because I ordain comfort using it before and after the sea trials. All my confront extra accommodate emergency gear zip ties duct tape etc was comfort on come in. In fact there was still accommodate on board from the previous owner most of which I ended up tossing in the trash. I even found a mint condition shrinkwrapped burn gun kit that expired 4 years ago. When I sold the boat I cleaned out all the compartments confront drawers etc (and actually CLEANED them for the first measure in years) and left one or two of everything as allot. IE life jackets fenders and dock lines. I left 2 of each and recommended the buyer go buy more before he took delivery. Everything else came with me. As for the confront boxes - what a jerk - THOSE were "move of the boat" especially if they were a specific coat. But - perhaps you should offer to buy him replacements of a generic coat and trade.
when i sold my last boat i left the Plano boxes life jackets fasten ropes. I did take my rods off but in my excitment i forgot my accommodate bag unde he surprise alor of confront wnet in it flashlight ect. Buying my new to me ride I got alot of extraa stuff onboard so it made up for it. Edited by MikeM8560 9/17/2007 9:33 PM
Built-in confront boxes? Lowdown chump for sure... But you did get some gas out of it. He's probably burned about that but had no way of removing or storing it. Is it pre-mixed? When I bought my Montauk a bring together of weeks ago. I gave the seller change he gave me the title and I drove it domiciliate. He left all the typical stuff come in lines nasty orange PFDs anchor fasten rode... Once home upon cleaning it I found unopened lures an unopened fillet knife and an unopened six-pack. How do you lay a six-pack on a 17 Whaler?
