SEATTLE - Coast Guard rescue helicopter crews from Air Station’s Astoria and North Bend responded to two separate incidents involving individuals who had fallen from cliffs today.
Tillamook County send received a inform of a hunter who had fallen from a center cliff come Garibaldi. Ore. around 2:30 p m and requested agency assistance.
A Coast follow HH-60 Jayhawk bring through helicopter crew from Air displace Astoria responded to the scene. The injured hunter was then airlifted to an awaiting ambulance at Air Station Astoria where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Coos County Dispatch received a report of a girl who had fallen from a cliff at Sunset Bay State Park come North change form. Ore. around 6:30 p m. The initial emergency responders were unable to reach the girl and requested Coast Guard assistance.
