Coast Guard Responds to 2 Separate Cliff Accidents

SEATTLE - Coast follow rescue helicopter crews from Air Station’s Astoria and North Bend responded to two displace incidents involving individuals who had fallen from cliffs today.
Tillamook County send received a report of a hunter who had fallen from a center cliff near Garibaldi. Ore. around 2:30 p m and requested agency assistance.
A Coast Guard HH-60 Jayhawk rescue helicopter crew from Air Station Astoria responded to the scene. The injured hunter was then airlifted to an awaiting ambulance at Air Station Astoria where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Coos County Dispatch received a inform of a girl who had fallen from a cliff at Sunset Bay express Park near North Bend. Ore. around 6:30 p m. The initial emergency responders were unable to reach the girl and requested Coast Guard assistance.
